I was happy to finally have a copy of this on my iPad. Unlike the other reviewers I waited until my print subscription expired. I hate the layout. I do not know when I should scroll to the left and when I should scroll down. It is a pain in the @$# to find recipes or stories.

I subscribe to the print version and love the magazine. Was really surprised to see that VT expects me to also pay to access the magazine electronically. Very disappointing.

Love the way they have set up the flipping thru pages. Simple clicks to jump to articles, scrolling down to see whole article vs having to scroll across & get lost. Also love the fact that I can add recipe to favorites. Saves from having to tear out sheet & put in recipe book. Love this app better than printed version. S

I have scanned years of VT into my computer, so was excited to see a digital version. BUT I cant save anything! I download Wall Street Journal articles daily. VT, what is the problem here? I would be happy to pay ONLY if I can download to my home computer. Otherwise, I will just continue to tear my issues part & scan them in. Humph.

It gorgeous. The scrolling is smooth, the pictures fabulous, and I can read it at night in bed without having the light on or crinkling pages and bothering my husband. I dont have a problem with finding things because Im used to other iPad magazines - stick with it, its worth it!

When will magazines stop expecting people to pay twice? Im a print subscriber, give me access digitally.

Like others here I am a long time subscriber to the print version. You shouldnt make subscribers pay an additional fee for the electronic version.

Strange as my other print subscriptions include iPad access. Very disappointing, VT.

As others have stated, Vegetarian Times should allow digital access to print subscribers. Also, its time for digital-only subscriptions to come down in price--they currently cost more than print. Finally, they need to develop a "preview" function that will allow readers to enlarge the covers within the library to see whats in the issue.

Why VT would I pay for both print and iPad?

As I print subscriber I should be able to access this at no additional cost. The way I look at it, I pay for the right to access my subscription in any medium. Sort of like how the universal apps I buy can be used on any iOS device.

Why is the iPad version MORE expensive than print?? Why, as a subscriber, cant I automatically get or switch to digital? Why dont you care??

I wish that I had read the reviews before I purchased the actual magazine, I probably wouldnt have bought it! This is the first magazine that I have purchased that did not include with my subscription an I Pad app. Very disappointed!!! I NO STARS for this app, but I have to give it something or it wont let me submit, so here goes 1 star but I would give it a negative 1.

I am a paper copy VT subscriber, and when I installed this app I was looking for access to My recipes and favorite articles from my VT online profile, but this app doesnt offer any of that, it is just a more expensive version of the subscription, that I already have. Waste of time ...

I have subscribed to VT for years and am already paid up through 2015. Why should this magazine make me pay twice when no others I receive do. Prevention, Weight Watchers, Wired, Martha Stewart Living, and Vogue all give me the digital version. VT has no excuse.

I have a mailed subscription and am very disappointed that I would have to pay again and more to get the App version of this magazine. Please fix or I wont be renewing anything in the future.

This would be a good app if I could use my existing print subscription to access the digital version.
